CSS psuedo classes demo test page

One of the most interesting aspects of modern CSS is the use of psuedo classes and pseudo elements. They apply styles to your document according to user actions or the structure of your mark-up respectively. The most well-known is :hover, a pseudo-class that changes a link color when the mouse moves over it. There are many others, as demonstrated by this page which is a demo in my upcoming new book, "Stylin' with CSS: second edition".

Demo of CSS pseudo classes and pseudo elements

As you will see, IE6 supports almost none of them, while Firefox supports them all - other browsers have various support for them. Try opening this page in different browsers to see how well they support these very useful capabilities.

Glad to see you're adding to the blog. has there been any interest in producing a revised edition of Stylin' with CSS that takes IE 7 into account?

Typo:
It must be "CSS pseudo..." in the title and not "CSS psuedo..."

I really enjoyed your Stylin and Codin books and look forward to the updated Stylin. I assume you'll include more info on IE7? I also look forward to the possibility of an OOPin too - Object Oriented PHP, something I'm looking at more now that my host is finally using PHP5. Any chance of seeing an Ajax+PHP+MySQL book from you too?

The link to the stylin website doesn't work anymore. The domain seems to be sold.

Hey, in Codin' you mention doing a javascript book to round out your CSS and PHP+Database books. Are you still going to be tackling that project?
